Amazon has launched its own delivery service – FBA Onsite. The new service will become a direct competitor to the largest delivery services, such as United Parcel Service Inc. and FedEx Corp. Within the next few weeks, the service will be available for Amazon partner companies in Los Angeles. Handling more supplies will help Amazon avoid clusters in warehouses by storing goods in partner warehouses, as well as increase sales through its platform. Amazon will be able to create a greater variety of products, shorten the delivery time and reduce costs.
During the Friday trading session, Amazon shares increased by 4.6% and will continue to grow. Trading will be available during the American session, from 14:40 to 21:00 GMT.
