Apple to build OLED-screen facility

Apple Co. is reportedly in talks with South Korean LG Display to produce OLED screens exclusively for Apple products. The new facility is expected to be capable of producing about 30,000 OLED screens for the next generation iPhone’s on a monthly basis. To realize the plans, the company is expected to invest $3 billion. The mass production from the new facility is expected to start as soon as early 2019.

Over the past couple days, Apple shares rose by 0,7% and continue rising on the news. The trade will be available during American session from 14:40 to 21:00 GMT.
