The Chinese company Baidu has created artificial intelligence, which is able to recognize actions in video clips with 87.6% accuracy. The artificial intelligence program took part in the “ActivityNet” competition, where impressed judges decided to give the program deserved 1st place. The program uses spatial-temporal modeling and instead of using photos, this time for program training purposes the developers used short video clips. Due to the rapidly growing need for video analytics, this novelty will be used to recognize and identify users.
Over the past week Baidu’s shares rose by 9,5% and continue rising. Trading will be available during American session from 13:40 till 20:00 (GMT).
