BP has started gas production in Egypt

The oil producing British company BP (British Petroleum) has started gas production in Egypt. Works are being carried out in the Atoll gas field, within the framework of the North Damietta concession. The work was originally planned for summer 2018, but started 7 months ahead of schedule, and costs were 33% lower than it was in the original estimate. At the moment, the daily volume of gas production is 350 million cubic feet and 10 thousand barrels of condensate.

Over the past few days, BP shares have grown by 3.7% and will continue to grow based on today's news. Trading will be available during the European session, from 08:15 to 16:30 GMT.
