Coca-Cola intends to close two production facilities in the UK. This is about a production plant in Milton Keynes and a distribution center in Northampton. The closure is planned in 2019, and about 300 people will remain without work. According to the company, the closure of the facilities is necessary for the improvement of the output rate and the production quality. In addition to the cutbacks, several manufacturing facilities in the UK will be expanded, and there will be an opportunity to employ about 120 people.
