European Union to fine Google 11 billion euros
The EU antitrust regulator plans to fine Google in the amount of 11 billion euros. The company is accused of violating the antimonopoly legislation. According to the European Commission, the company promotes its services and applications with the help of the Android OS. This practice deprives other companies of the opportunity to compete in the market and is regarded as an abuse of the dominant position. Since early July, Google shares have increased by more than 4% and continue to grow based on further news. Trading will be available during the American session, from 13:40 to 20:00 GMT.
