ExxonMobil has acquired a stake in the oil field in Brazil

US oil and gas company ExxonMobil closed the deal with the Norwegian oil and gas company Equinor (formerly Statoil). The company has acquired the half of Equinor's stake, 18.25%, in a project on the development of a BM-S-8 hydrocarbon block on the Brazilian shelf with oil reserves of about 2 billion barrels. The extraction of raw materials will begin in 2023 or 2024. The amount of the deal is not disclosed, but profitable cooperation positively affected the price of ExxonMobil shares.

Over the past three days, ExxonMobil shares have increased by 2.6% and will continue to grow based on the news. Trading will be available during the American session, from 13:40 to 20:00 GMT.
