Facebook has launched the testing of ad videos with the usage of augmented reality technology in the US. The first pilots were ad videos of fashion brands: accessories, cosmetics, furniture and games. For example, the Michael Kors brand allowed customers to virtually try on models of sunglasses, Nike used advertising to announce a new model of Kyrie 4s. Facebook now has numerous eminent customers who want to try out a new way of advertising.
Since early July, Facebook shares have grown by 5.3% and will continue to grow based on the news. Trading will be available during the American session, from 13:40 to 20:00 GMT.
