Russia’s gas giant Gazprom and CEO of Azerbaijan’s state oil company SOCAR finished the discussions on the supply of natural gas to Azerbaijan. The talks were held in St. Petersburg on July 2. Even though the outcome of the meeting has not been published yet, but it is known that Gazprom was supplying Azerbaijan with gas for 6 years before the discovery of Shah Deniz after which the supply was stopped. The resumption of cooperation will positively affect the growth of Gazprom's shares.
Over the past week, Gazprom’s shares rose by 2,4% and continue rising. The trade will be available during American session from 14:40 to 21:00 GMT.
