General Motors factories will be laid off

Factories of American company General Motors will be laid off as the company tries to control the sales slump. Soon the factory in Michigan state will be closed for renovation and modernization. By the time of reopening only one-third of all employees will get back to work. A few months ago, company promised to try to save as many job opportunities as possible, however, due to downsizing in the car industry, lay off of employees turned out to be inevitable.

Starting from March, General Motors shares dropped by 7.6% and continue its negative trend. The trade will be available during American session from 14:40 to 21:00 GMT.
