The company is ready to launch a volume production as early as next year. At this stage, the company has sent a request to the US Department of Transportation for permission to operate a new car. General Motors is ahead of its competitors and promises to release a fully -autonomous car in 2019. If the Department of Transportation approves a new product, the company's shares will significantly rise in price.

Since mid-January, General Motors shares have grown by 2.9% and will continue to grow on the news. Trading will be available during the American session, from 14:40 to 21:00 GMT.
