Google completed its HTC deal, the company has bought part of the Taiwanese manufacturer of smartphones and tablets - HTC. The parties reached an agreement back in September 2017, but the treaty takes effect only now. Following the results of the deal, 2,000 HTC employees will henceforth become a part of Google. The deal cost Google 1.1 billion dollars, to be exact, it is the price of rights for the unique design of smartphones, developed by HTC.
Over the last few weeks, Google shares (Alphabet) have increased by 2.7% and will continue their active growth on today's news. Trading will be available during the American session, from 14:40 to 21:00 GMT.
