Microsoft is going to release low-budget tablets under the Surface brand. The novelty will compete with the iPad, and its price will be $400, which is much cheaper than the tablets from Apple. Microsoft's tablets will go on sale in the second half of this year and will receive 10-inch screens and a USD-C port. This will be Microsoft's second attempt to enter the market of low-cost tablet computers. The first and not the most successful attempt was made in 2015.
Since early May, Microsoft shares have increased by 3.6% and will continue to grow based on the news. Trading will be available during the American session, from 13:40 to 20:00 GMT.
