Payment application developed by Santander

Subdivision of Spanish bank Santander, which is located in the UK, has developed a payment application based on Ripple technology. Developers have been testing the new system for the last year and a half. The system will be integrated into Apple Pay and allow payments ranging from 10 to 10,000 pounds. The application will be available in the UK, Spain, Brazil and Poland. The application will be launched in the next couple of months and developers of Santander Bank intend to use the xCurrent service in it.

Over the past few weeks, the shares of Santander Bank (Banco Santander) rose by 5.6% and will continue to grow based on the news. Trading will be available during the European session, from 10:00 to 16:30 GMT.
