Pfizer has been granted two large patents

The US pharmaceutical concern Pfizer has received patents on two new drugs. The Indian authorities have approved a patent for the Prevenar 13 vaccine against pneumococcal infection, which is the leading cause of child deaths under the age of five. At the same time, the US Food and Drug Administration (FDA) approved a new Pfizer leukemia drug, called Besponsa, which is four times more effective than the standard medical treatments.

The new drugs’ releases will undoubtedly increase the company's profits, which will positively affect the shares’ value.
