The British-Australian mining and metals company Rio Tinto again resumed supplies of alumina for aluminum production to the Russian company Rusal, the ship with raw materials will arrive at its destination on Monday. On April 13, the companies' contracts were suspended, in connection with the sanctions. The companies hope to resume cooperation, as the head of the ministry, Steven Mnuchin, said on April 23 that Rusal appealed to the Ministry of Finance with a request to exclude the company from the list. Time will tell how events will develop.
Over the past few days, Rio Tinto shares have increased by 1.8% and will continue to grow. Trading will be available during the European session, from 07:15 to 15:40 GMT.
