Santander has launched a payment service

The Spanish bank Santander has launched the One Pay payment service, which works on the xCurrent blockchain platform developed by Ripple. At first, the service will operate in Spain, the UK, Brazil and Poland, later the customers from other countries will be able to take advantage of the system. According to the bank's financial director, One Pay service will provide instant money transfer, regardless of the country where the client is located. Representatives of the bank also clarified that operations with cryptocurrency will not be supported.

Since early April, the shares of Santander have increased by 4.1% and will continue to grow based on the news. Trading will be available during the European session, from 07:15 to 15:30 GMT.
