American coffee shop chain Starbucks started to seek out new growth opportunities for development of sustainable business. That is why Starbucks intends to become the full owner of its China joint venture in a bid to expand its presence in other regions. The reason for such investment is the company’s concerns that growth from its dominant U.S. market is cooling. Besides that, on July 27 the company has published its financial results for the second quarter of 2017 reporting the revenues of $5,7 billion.
During yesterday’s trading session, Starbucks’s shares rose 2,4% and continue rising. The trade will be available during American session from 13:40 to 20:00 GMT.
