Tesco began to monitor its customers

The British retail chain Tesco began to install cameras over the self-checkouts due to the increase in thefts in stores. Supervision of buyers is conducted openly, each client sees his reflection in the monitor, which gives employees the ability to track the purchases made by a particular customer, but this method instantly reduced the use of self-checkouts. Buyers explain this by saying that they do not trust those who sit on the other side of the cameras and are afraid of the theft of their bank card details.

Tesco shares fell 2.3% and will continue their further negative movement. Trading will be available during the European session, from 07:15 to 15:30 GMT.
