The British mobile operator Vodafone together with Nokia plans to launch a mobile 4G network on the Moon. The idea of the project is that the network will transmit video and other data through special equipment from the lunar landscape to the Earth, in particular to the Mission Control Center in Berlin. This will allow scientists to control two Audi lunar quattro rovers on the Moon. If the project is successfully implemented, the mission will be of great importance for space exploration and future flights.
Over the past week, Vodafone shares rose by 2.1% and will continue their active growth based on the news. Trading will be available during the European session, from 08:15 to 16:30 GMT.
